Logo, Icons, UI/UX

is a music app for psychedelic American and European bands. This project analyzed elements of the era's visual culture and utilizes them throughout concept. The goal of this brief is to expand the current consumer base to a younger audience without isolating the established customer.

The mock UI/UX project developed my practical knowledge of how a brand is expressed as the interactive experience on an application. This multidisciplinary design project allowed me to take human behavior into consideration to provide an immersive brand experience.

By using familiarity of the visual culture, the interactive elements provide the user an effective, end to end experience while navigating the app. My goal was to start with focusing on organizing and structuring content, through this process I was able to build a sustainable system that provides the user with practicality while navigating the app.Understanding how pieces fit together and how items relate and cohesively work with each other in the system and usability testing was vital to creating an engaging experience for the user.

The dominating feature is utilizing different scales, to create a design system that reinforces familiarity with visual identity. The aesthetics are indicative of the vibrant psychedelic era, and the motion graphics bring a new edge to the artwork that is appropriate for younger audiences and appealing to a wider demographic.
