Visual Identity, Branding, Packaging

a Princeton area Salon Spa renowned for its excellent customer service and fashion forward beauty services. After thirteen years in business, the logo needed to modernize, keeping up with the ever-changing industry.

This work was completed as a student project in my senior year at TCNJ and received amongst the best feedback throughout the design process. TCNJ senior projects are reviewed and professionally critiqued by industry leaders who felt these works were the best distillation of the brief.

Interaction with the color and typography is present on packaging, labels, and products. The elements are used liberally in multiple aspects of the identity. The handmade illustration conveys a sense of the craft involved in making the product. While watercolor styling conveys the luxurious hydration that gently lathers to cleanse hair and scalp visually. The communication system I built uses elements of the logo mark in a strategic ways along with the sans serif typography, designs a solid structure for collaterals, and packaging.
